In our opinion, a healthy mind is the foundation for success in the digital landscape, and on this International Mental Health Day, we want to shed light on how our Thailand team prioritizes and nurtures daily mental well-being.

In our fast-paced and dynamic industry, caring for our mental health is not just a goal; it’s a crucial part of being productive and engaged professionals. So we ask our colleagues’ strategies for managing stress both in the workplace and in their personal lives.

Incorporating physical exercise into your routine can offer numerous benefits for relieving stress and maintaining your mental well-being. Approximately half of our team members are in favor of incorporating exercise as a means to alleviate stress.

Here are 4 other reasons why you should consider it:

  1. Exercise triggers the release of endorphins, which are natural mood lifters. It helps reduce the production of stress hormones like cortisol, leading to an immediate reduction in stress levels.
  2. Regular physical activity has been linked to an improved overall mood and decreased symptoms of depression and anxiety. It can enhance feelings of happiness and well-being.
  3. Exercise can promote better sleep quality, helping you fall asleep faster and enjoy deeper, more restorative rest. Adequate sleep is crucial for mental health.
  4. Regular exercise can boost your energy levels and reduce feelings of fatigue. This increased energy can help you tackle daily stressors more effectively.

Dedicating time to be with family or friends, whether it’s watching movies or simply staying in, can indeed be an effective way to manage the everyday stresses of life.

These moments of connection and relaxation provide several benefits:

  1. Spending quality time with loved ones can help reduce stress levels by promoting feelings of happiness, comfort and security.
  2. Engaging in enjoyable activities with loved ones can temporarily divert your attention from stressors, allowing you to unwind and recharge.
  3. Positive social interactions release oxytocin and other feel-good hormones, which can boost your mood and reduce stress.
  4. Spending time with loved ones fosters a sense of belonging and strengthens bonds, which can enhance your overall wellbeing.
